What is the Flame Fund?
At Leora Healthcare, we support our people holistically, with initiatives in place to support their professional, physical, mental and even financial wellbeing.
Flame Fund is a perfect complement to our existing professional development program, and is part of our ongoing commitment to support our people wherever we possibly can.
Under this innovative program, full-time office staff are given access to an individual grant. This Flame Fund grant ($100) is exclusively for you to explore and invest in activities that truly ignite your personal passions, all outside of your professional life.

Whether it’s picking up a new hobby, learning a new skill or simply indulging in activities you’re passionate about, we’ve got you covered. You could choose to enroll in a cooking class, a sewing course, a cheese-making workshop, or even a badminton bootcamp! The choice is entirely yours. Get inspired by these Leorans.

I plan to take a short photography workshop because I really have this emerging interest in photography. I think a workshop would help me gain more experience and skills in taking photos, documenting landscapes, portraits. I’m really excited.
Chef Peter
I’m planning to do a cooking class. I want to feel more confident preparing meals for myself and others. My wife does all the cooking for me and all the lunch I bring to work is all done by her, so it’s time for me to start learning and help her out a bit.
Badminton Smasher Glayjo
I’m planning to use the grant on my badminton club fees. It would be good to be able to play a few sessions for free. It would also help me stay active without worrying about the cost. I’m really looking forward to improving my game, thanks to Leora!
Dancer Astrid
I want to use my grant in doing Zumba. This is me in costume at Zumba class! I love dancing and it relaxes me. It’s also a fun way to stay fit and meet new people. Having the grant would make it easier for me to join more classes regularly.
Pastry Chef Mai
I’d like to do a baking course. I like to make yummy desserts for my family and friends! It would be great to learn new techniques and try more advanced recipes. I think it could even lead to a fun side hobby.
DJ Shareen
I’m applying for a DJ course using my grant. I’ve been learning little things on YouTube, but nothing beats being in a classroom with a teacher guiding you and instructing you.
