Disaster struck while Timothy (left) was overseas on holiday. He was staying with a friend when he felt ‘wonky and lightheaded’ and fell back on the bed. He found out later that he’d had a stroke. Sitti was an incredibly capable and accomplished research scientist, but after a major operation, she was afraid to be on her own. Thankfully, Leora was there to support her. Now with help at home, Sitti continues to serve her community as a bilingual community educator.
