Esha Oberoi, Founder and Co-CEO of Leora Healthcare, has been awarded Most Outstanding CEO/Director at the prestigious Australian Disability Service Awards (ADSA).
This year’s event was held on Wednesday, 13 November at Doltone House in Sydney.
“This award is a recognition of the entire Leora Healthcare team,” Esha said. “Together, we’ve redefined care, inclusion and opportunity for people living with disability. This honour is a testament to the importance of our work and what we can achieve when purpose and passion align.”
ADSA honours outstanding contributions and innovation within the disability services sector. An initiative of One Community, it celebrates individuals and organisations that deliver exceptional services for people living with disability across Australia.
Most Outstanding CEO
The 2024 awards featured 13 award categories and attracted nominations from trailblazers across the sector. The Most Outstanding CEO/Director category highlights leaders who demonstrate vision, integrity and the ability to create meaningful change within their organisations and communities.
Under Esha’s leadership, Leora Healthcare has grown into a trusted provider of NDIS in-home and community care, Supported Independent Living (SIL) and onsite shared support in Specialist Disability Accommodation across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Innovation and Compassion
Her focus on innovation and compassion has seen Leora named a Best Place to Work by the Australian Financial Review for four consecutive years (2021 to 2024).
Esha’s impact has been driven by groundbreaking initiatives, including the implementation of innovative hiring solutions to reduce bias, 24/7 mental health support for employees and the successful opening of several disability accommodation properties in the past year. These homes provide safe and inclusive environments for people with disabilities to live and thrive.
We at Leora celebrate this recognition and extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and finalists who continue to inspire and drive change across the disability sector.
