The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has announced updates to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for 2025–26, along with supporting documents that guide how price controls for supports and services are applied under the NDIS.
These updates will take effect from 24 November 2025 and are designed to help participants better understand pricing and plan their supports with confidence.
Why the updated NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits matters
The NDIA has taken on board feedback from participants, families and providers who requested more notice ahead of pricing changes.

Important changes from 24 November 2025
The updated arrangements include several important changes, such as:
- New price limits for Art Therapists and Music Therapists, based on recommendations from the Independent Review of Art and Music Therapies.
- Revised claiming guidance for ‘Other Professional’ support items to align with the same review’s recommendations.
- Removal of the COVID Addendum and related support items, reflecting the transition away from pandemic-related measures.
- Updated Modified Monash Model classifications, in line with the latest updates from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
- Adjustments to the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) calculator, reflecting the annual indexation process linked to Disability Support Pension updates.
- Changes across the Assistive Technology, Home Modifications and Consumables Code Guide, including the creation, modification and removal of certain support items to ensure alignment with the NDIS Supports List.
- Updated item descriptions for Community Social and Recreational Activities, Innovative Community Participation and Community Participation Activities to make them clearer and more consistent.
New Operational Guideline for Therapy Supports
Alongside these pricing updates, the NDIA has also released a new Operational Guideline for Therapy Supports.
The guideline outlines:
- what therapy supports are,
- when they may be funded by the NDIS, and
- who can deliver them.
This update aims to bring more transparency and consistency to how therapy supports are understood and accessed across the scheme.
